We are traveling in Mexico with Lillia, staying in Tlaquepaque, which is a town that has been engulfed by the city of Guadalajara. Here is a picture from the restaurant Casa Fuerte, with Lillia in her high chair. We were seated in front of a three piece band, which played Latin Jazz and Bossa Nova. Lillia pretended to play the piano in her high chair and later walked up to the stage where the conga player let her beat on one of his drums.

The food at many of these restaurants is excellent, better than any Mexican fare we have had in the States. I would describe the food at Casa Fuerte as light, playful, and inventive.
Lillia is very popular wherever we go. We are often asked if she is Latina, to which we answer, "no, es Chinita." My limited Spanish is good enough for ordering beer and directing taxis, and we are all enjoying the warm weather and the escape from Denver's snow. Some more pictures:

The courtyard at Quinta Don Jose where we are staying.

Another courtyard shot. Lillia has plenty of room to roam in our bed and breakfast.
Hola, Amigos!
