November

Two photos now from California, carrying memories of warm, sweet weather at grandma Bonnie's in Walnut Creek in early October. This was the day Lillia decided that clothing was optional, and kept undressing despite our concerted efforts.
The fruit being proferred here is a pineapple guava from one of grandma Bonnie's backyard trees.

Now two more photos from Denver, outside our house, from the first snowstorm of the year.

Note Lillia's signature pose: half pharaonic, half Shaolin master.

I can't help but think this girl has quite a future ahead of her.

Disguise

Lillia certainly has a penchant for adopting disguises. At a recent garage sale Lillia took on a false nose and glasses to avoid being spotted, once again, by the paparazzi, and all of the chaos that would entail. Rosemary, seated next to the small one, helped with the make-up.

Apologies

Our apologies for the long hiatus. Lillia is well and continues to grow. Here are some pictures from the picnic and citizenship ceremony from about 2 months ago, where, among other things, Lillia pledged to never show fealty to a foreign prince, power, or suzerain. Lillia was all for this and the cake as well. Suzanne and I chose to be quiet regarding Lillia's probable future as Queen Ramekin I of the Nile River Kingdom--as discussed in an earlier post. But enough...

Some Picures:

Lillia with loving mom and balding dad, also with Josh and Lily, the superb directors of our adoption agency, Chinese Children Adoption International.

Judge plus our family on a pleasant if windy day.

All the picnickers together.

After the picnic, on the slopes of Mount Evans, to look at the changing aspens.

More soon! (really!)
